when the heart is empty
the soul shall weep;
and a little sadness
inside will creep;
and in the heart
while it remains
sadness
reeks into the trellis
seeps into the drains
in the castle of the soul.
and the soul is empty.
you said you don't
enjoy speaking with me;
perhaps you'd said it
a little too gleefully.
i think i feel hurt;
what i feel is hurt.
it could be that you
chose to treat me as dirt.
when the mind is empty
the heart would weep;
and the tears would flow
till the heart finds sleep.
