Recently, the Malaysian Bar Council organised the first in a series of four talks about the DEB (Dasar Ekonomi Baru, also known as "New Economic Policy" in English). The talks were reputedly riveting and attracted a big crowd. We Malaysians have been living with the DEB for two generations now. The talks are a refreshing reminder of our Government's newfound openness to discussion.
