a long eternity
since i found that she
was not for me.
but for reasons best known
to her and her own
circle, her tone
has grown
cold.
we are no perfect matches,
no perfect fit that latches
one unto the other;
no real life dream lover,
or one that is her
in every description.
i am not perfect
but you select
me, reflect-
ing that
truth that
you need that
special some one, too.
imperfection
escapes distractions
a reflection
of our persons.
