Feeling heavy, off-center today
A small misstep upon the fray
Our hero starts to fall, and calls
Hands splayed out, to the wall
But misses the railing
And goes sailing
Down the stairs
Balance impaired
And palms the floor
When
Someone grabs his collar
And pulls him up - lucky fella!
Choking, with gratitude, he smiles
Off-center, off-colour, for a while.
