prime number in your IC number?

Most Malaysians have an identification card number that follows the format of xxxxxx-xx-xxxx. Why not attempt to make a game out of it?

The first thing is to treat the number as a kind of equation.

e.g.
791031-14-6161 = 791017-6161 = 784856.

Then onwards we try to factor the prime numbers.

784856 / 2 = 392428. ( Prime number = 2 )
392428 / 2 = 196214. ( Prime number = 2 )
196214 / 2 = 98107. ( Prime number = 2 )
98107 / 17 = 5771. ( Prime number = 17 )
5771 / 29 = 199. (Prime number = 29 )
199 is a prime number. ( Prime number = 199 )

So now you're left with the biggest prime number from the result of your "accidental equation". Try it -- it might be fun.
